Library Live! Workshop: AI Literacy - Understanding and Avoiding Plagiarism in the Context of AI Detection (Part 2 of 2 in the AI Literacy Series)

Library Live! is a webinar series designed to empower students’ information literacy and critical thinking skills in research. At Library Live you will build fundamental library research skills while having fun!


Today's Topic: AI Literacy: Understanding and Avoiding Plagiarism in the Context of AI Detection (Part 2 of 2 in the AI Literacy Series) 

This workshop covers two AI detection tools: GPT Zero and Detect GPT, with attention to how these tools may be used to detect plagiarism. We will cover how to cite content from AI tools and the importance of following course policy to avoid the misuse of generative AI. 


Workshops occur every other Tuesday from 3:00-4:00 pm via Zoom. All workshops will be recorded and uploaded to the University Library’s YouTube Channel.
