Join us for a screening of the short documentary Urban Seeds, followed by panel moderated by Dr. Lani Cupchoy, Assistant Professor, Chicana(o) Latina(o) Studies. Urban Seeds highlights the story of a school-based garden movement, and the fight for food justice and Indigenous-based food knowledge in Montebello Unified School District. Light refreshments will be served.
